Conference Table in Orlando

The third gathering of the Conference Table is Dec. 7 at Azalea Park United Methodist Church, Orlando.

It begins at 9:30 with a recap of the previous two sessions, followed by worship at 10 a.m. and the work session, which ends at 4 p.m.

This gathering will continue to focus on developing the Florida Conference’s vision and mission statements, as well as setting priorities for the conference. Conference leaders will also make a brief presentation on connectional giving.

The Florida Conference’s Thanksgiving Family Camp is Nov. 27-Dec. 1 at the Family Campground in Leesburg. The event includes a Thanksgiving worship service and a potluck dinner. Copies of the 2002 Journal of the Florida Annual Conference on CD-ROM are available for ordering. The CD-ROM includes the Journal, Statistical Addendum, video highlights from the Florida Annual Conference Event and church Web site tips.
