Conference changes insurance claims
procedure
LAKELAND — Two recent changes to the Florida
Conference’s property and casualty insurance program have resulted
in new contact people for insurance claims.
With the new insurance year, which began Jan. 1,
the Florida Conference Self Insurance Committee changed claims
adjustment companies from Gallagher Bassett Services to Cramer Johnson
Wiggins & Associates. The claim process should remain the same,
according to Jim Severance, the conference’s risk manager, but
churches will call a different number to file claims.
There was a change in personnel February at
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the conference’s insurance broker,
Severance said. Rhett Everett, who was handling the Florida Conference’s
account, has left the company, and Peter Jones has taken on that
responsibility. Jones and Chip Shaw, the new account executive, will
handle questions regarding the conference’s coverage.
