Registration is $20 for the first participant and $15 for each additional family member. Parents can register their children online at http://www.umvim.org  or by calling 404-377-7424. Housing accommodations and meals are available by calling Lake Junaluska at 800-222-7930.

Music and worship arts plans convocation

The theme for the July 10-15 biennial national convocation of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts in Dearborn, Mich., is “Nurturing the Roots–Growing the Future.”

The fellowship is a national organization of worship planners and leaders, musicians, music directors, pastors, dancers, storytellers, actors and other liturgical artists. Though its membership is mostly United Methodist, all denominations are welcome.

Many of the worship services, workshops and class sessions will explore issues related to the church in transition.

For more information contact David Bone, administrator, Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts, at 800-952-8977, 615-749-6875 or FUMMWAconvo@aol.com  or visit the Web site at http://www.fummwa.org
