United Methodists throughout the denomination will celebrate Heritage Sunday April 25. “The theme for the 1999-2003 [Heritage Sundays] is ‘The World is My Parish,’ reminding us that [United] Methodism reaches all the world,” said Florida Conference Archivist Nell Thrift. “This year’s focus is Africa.” The April issue of “Interpreter” magazine will carry an article featuring the annual theme. The Society of St. Andrew in the Tampa/Hillsborough County area is in need of volunteers to help glean during April, May and June.
