Short Bites

  • United Methodists throughout the denomination will celebrate Heritage Sunday April 25. “The theme for the 1999-2003 [Heritage Sundays] is ‘The World is My Parish,’ reminding us that [United] Methodism reaches all the world,” said Florida Conference Archivist Nell Thrift. “This year’s focus is Africa.” The April issue of “Interpreter” magazine will carry an article featuring the annual theme. A brochure of worship resources for the Sunday is available from Thrift at 941-688-9276.
