bblock.gif (871 bytes)  Training offers chance to be better leaders. For years, business leaders have studied consultant Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People®. Now, church leaders are invited to see how Covey’s principles can help make them more effective in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Jim Fogle-Miller, director of the Conference Council on Ministries’ Leader Development office, will facilitate this intensive three-day workshop Nov. 10-12 at the Life Enrichment Center in Leesburg.

Laity and clergy are invited to learn how to use Covey’s material to discern God’s call, control their own actions, manage time and resources, be a more effective listener, and apply Biblical teachings to daily decisions.

The cost is $329 double occupancy, $345 single occupancy or $275 for commuters. It includes the Seven Habits material, valued at $200, lodging for two nights and all meals.

For more information or to register for the workshop, contact Margaret Carter in the Leader Development office at 1-800-282-8011, extension 148, or e-mail MCarter@flumc.org.
