The annual Christmas Gala at Florida Southern College is Dec. 1, 2:30 to 4:40 p.m., on the college’s campus in Lakeland. The event is sponsored by the college’s department of music and is presented in appreciation of Florida Conference United Methodist churches.

The two-hour event includes holiday music by a variety of the college’s music programs. An optional lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The gala is free to all active and retired United Methodist ministers. The cost for the gala is $8, and the lunch is $8. Payment is due by Nov. 19. Reservations are required for both events.

Educational Opportunities Tours (EOT), a Lakeland company that has worked with the Florida Conference to provide Holy Land tours, is expanding its services to include a Missions Division.
